May 23rd, 2016 brings us 94-days away from the National Park Service Centennial. In this edition of the #CentennialCountdown we dig into the archives of the Directors Report to the Secretary of the Interior, a huge thanks to Neel for helping track down these resources!
In 1922 we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the creation of the first National Park on Earth with the creation of Yellowstone National Park. We also get to see reference to how the whole Yellowstone idea came about. Enjoy!
