On the 5th day of the Grand Canyon we passed by the most photographed place in the entire canyon Nankoweap Granaries. It is a classic photos, you can see several miles down the river and you can see slight twists and turns, but ultimately the most straight part of the river that you can see.
Our plan was to camp at Nankoweap, but we had been passed by another group on our layover day and they mentioned that they planned on camping there. We opted to continue on, as much fun as it could be to meet another group of people on of the beauties of the canyon is not running into others and getting to enjoy it on your own terms.
This day is better explain by the photos, so enjoy!
