75-days until the National Park Service Centennial

June 11th, 2016 brings us 75-days away from the National Park Service Centennial. In this edition of the #CentennialCountdown we go back 75-years to 1941.

Mammoth Cave was finally declared a National Park after being authorized in 1926.

1941 is also an important year for the National Park Service, because it is the year at the Department of Interior hired Ansel Adams to document the parks photographically.
